Tie-Die and Teal

At the beginning of my blog, I thought that Anna and I will both write in it - sort of two generations, mother and daughter, and two takes on personal style. But then Anna (or Anya as we call her at home) got really busy, and then she got really into her own many interests, and it just so happened that she did not write here for a few months. I don't know whether or not she'll decide to post here on a regular basis in the future, but since she is on a school break now and we finally are having a great relaxing family time, I asked her if she'd be interested to post her recent outfits, and she agreed! You can find other Anna's posts under the label "Anna's fashion" (there are also a few posts featuring Justin under the label "Justin's style"). The first photo is by Justin, he took it last evening on the beach. All other photos are taken by me during the day.
The rest of the post is by Anna.

Hi, its me, Anna. Yesterday, I sort of had a two-in-one outfit. I know I haven't posted here in a long time, but even if I wasn't here, it doesn't mean my fashion stopped. Anyway, on to the outfit.

Here, I have a bright, nice mint jeggings, which looks like jeans, but really they are soft. They were about $15 at Old Navy. Don't mind that object in my back pocket, its just my phone, haha. I also have these very comfortable boots that are a neutral color I recently got for about $25 at Nordstrom Rack. Also, of course, my button shirt that is a light sky blue with a floral white lace on the sides, is from Justice. They had a 50% off sale on the whole store, so I got several shirts and a new swimsuit. I get a lot of their Justice catalogs monthly, and I had a lot of shirts in mind. I saw a light blue and navy blue tie-die button shirt that I wanted, but I ended up getting this one, which I still admire. My little white beanie (hat) - I wear it in a lot of outfits, but I honestly don't know where its from. (It is hand crocheted and was donated by friends. - Natalia)

I don't really like how I look here, but this is the second part of my outfit. I switched shirts and put on a light cloth pullover. I guess, this outfit is a little more Summer. My shoes are a medium teal Toms. My tank top is a cut rainbow panda shirt that is pretty comfortable and cute. I put on a black bracelet with a silver rectangular plate with the word "OMG" on it in sparkly blue. Also, I have on a bright neon green fingerless netting glove that goes nice with my shirt and the other items I have already told about in the other photo.

Here's a portrait of me =). My mom took a lot of nice photos.

Button shirt - Justice; tank top - Justice; jeggings - Old Navy; fingerless glove - Dance swag bag; bracelet - Claire's; boots - ANNA via Nordstrom Rack; Toms via Nordstrom Rack; jacket - Justice; hat - hand made gift

  1. Well Anna, I must say that you're as colourful and stylish as your Mum. I love those mint skinnies, those cool boots and I'll happily take that vest off your hands when you're bored with it.
Enjoy your holidays, the school's here have broken up today, too. My teacher friends are more excited than the kids. x

  2. Hello Anna! You look really lovely, green and blue are great colours for you. And I particularly like your white beanie! How cool to share the blog with your mum - she's a wonderful woman (but you know that already, right?)
Tomorrow, I will show my girls (Claudia is 12, Nina is 8) but then they might want their own slot on my blog too... Hmm, what do you think? They have another week of school before the Easter holidays. Hope you enjoy your break! xxx

    1. Hello! Thank you so much, Curtise! I think you look great in all colors and you seem very colorful, I would like to lean more. I think you should let your girls share your blog, it would be great but of course its your choice. =)

  3. Anna, you look great in both your outfits and I am like Curtise, I love the white beanie. I need to make myself one. Here in Canada we call a knitted or crocheted hat a toque. It's pronounced tyook or took. The close up portrait your mum took is really lovely and should be framed! Have a great holiday and come back soon to show us more outfits.

    1. WOW, you are good! :) You nailed it, my dear! If I learn anything from anyone about colors, it's from Anna and Justin. I was color shy when I was younger and haven't met them yet! :) You are one smart lady! :)

  8. First of all, you are a natural! You look so relaxed in front of the camera (which doesn't come easily for all of us, haha!!!) I love that you are doing this with your mom - it's what we do on our blog. So even if it's not regular, it's still nice to share. You and your mom both have fantastic style! Love all the mints and blues together - you look gorgeous!!
