Best Style Tip

I love adding new clothes to my ever-growing collection and wearing brand new outfits, and I also love finding ways to incorporate new items into my existing wardrobe. I have a feeling this scarlet sail shirt will become a staple and make good friends with many of my old friends, and this chevron skirt is one of them (previously worn HERE in 2016, HERE and HERE in 2015).

My best style tip
(hilarious and ridiculously unprofessional, and I use it all the time!)

When in doubt, throw in a little orange.

(What!? I know, I know, it's ridiculous...but it never lets me down!)

I added my favorite hat and orange and green jewelry, as well as white and blue purse, and I got a fabulous mix of colors and patterns. It's always a good idea to get pictures by the Sound with its peaceful waters and sailboats. It was one of the last days of our staycation, with pizza for dinner and a stroll along the shore later when we found another tiny painted rock (read about the tradition of Tacoma painted rocks HERE).

I'll post about our main vacation event soon, but for now I'll keep it simple. :)

  2. my orange is a bluish red or green :-)
in fact your advice is genius!! because if one thinks about it means *trow in you fav color if in doubt* - and THAT will automatic make a "not so sure" outfit in a personal look that is totally you! tadaa!
and do we see a total natasha look here!!! i could you recognize on you clothes - from a sailboot without glasses! or is it a fan, copying your style ? ;-D
hugs&kisses! lots of love to pudget sound! <3 <3 <3

  3. lovely style tip!, and very useful for anybody who loves orange (like Me!). It makes me think on how many times we read same kind of advice on magazines, always telling us to buy a white crisp shirt or a black dress or a perfect pair of jeans. Well, we prefer some orange!! other people would prefer red or fuchsia or whatever!. So your style tip is really genuine and very useful, I agree with Beate!
You look fabulous wearing your cute shirt (love how you tied it) and that beautiful shirt, lovely color combo and lovely accessorizing too. And you look particularly gorgeous in this evening sunshine light with the pudget sound as the background!
    Fabulous!

    1. Thank you, Monica! Yes, we all need a personalized advice - like buy something you really love and look forward to wearing it! Generic advice is for very generic situations...

  5. Thanks for the style tip. As I love orange, I couldn't agree more, although adding green would work for me too, or adding a brooch! You're looking very colourful and stylish, the colours enhanced by the evening sun and the Sound in the background. That maxi skirt is fabulous! Oh, and how amazing that you found another little rock! Lots of love xxx

Your style tip is spot on , add a touch of your favourite colour because it is always the one that suits you best. Enjoy the rest of your Summer and your staycation. xxx Jill
