The Last Chord

Hello my friends and readers, and Happy Halloween!
I would like to finish October with the outfit that feels quintessentially Fall to me. I wore it to a walk, dinner out and a movie this past weekend. It has many remixed pieces that I've shown before, and it just makes sense to include it with all those other Autumn ensembles I've shared recently. It's like a finishing touch, the last chord in my October music piece. I have a feeling that November will be different. We'll see!

  2. This outfit does look so wonderfully you! That cap is my favourite style hat and I have a new one in that style too. You wear the colours of the Deep Autumn palette so well, and it's interesting to note that you do black well. Black does not flatter everyone but you have the richness of colouring and depth so black does not diminish you at all, but makes you look strong. You are equal to the black (and to that amazing gold-mustard) Many people hope for that effect from black but few actually get it. Halloween hugses.

    1. WOW, Shawna! What an interesting comment on black. I think some black tones look better on me than other black tones or hues. This poncho is sort of warm black to my eyes. There is a certain kind of flat black that does not suit me. I also think that it's rather black and white that works for me, not total black. Or black with bright colors. It really isn't an easy color to wear, I agree with you! Often it just looks depressing to me. But I love your definition "equal to black" and "strong". WOW! I am blown away. :)

  6. What a lovely outfit! You look great! Perfect way to finish October...and very suitable colours for Halloween- yellow (and orange) always makes me think of Halloween (and Autumn in general, I might add). Those yellow pants are gorgeous! I will check out the outfit too...so nice you're also doing outfit vlogs now. I didn't see this one before, I think the last vlog I saw was the one where you were talking about school system in America, when it starts and how it is organized.

    1. Thank you, Ivana! :) I posted a few videos recently, pretty much all at the same time or maybe two days in a row. I'm really impressed with your understanding of Russian!

The hat is such a good style on you and I love the detailing of the blouse and that pop of mustard. This is such a lovely combination on you.
