Definitely Spring, Definitely Surprises

I showed this shirt dress last Winter here and here, and now it's Spring style.
Lots of green. Lots and lots of green.
But not only! What else?

This! Look what a wonderful surprise I received in the mail the other day - two glass beads bracelets and this long necklace! I was actually thinking about finding a long necklace, and a colorful necklace - here I have two-in-one! It was a gift from lovely Shawna, who not only blogs, writes stories and paints flowers, but surprises her friends with unexpected presents. Thank you, Shawnochka! The colors will go with so many of my outfits, and I will love and enjoy wearing them! But more than anything, I feel loved and appreciated - and that is priceless.

I'm taking my shoes to Sheila's Shoe Shine, and hope some day I can take them to a dance floor where I'm sure they will be right at home! Erica agreed! You see, I wore this outfit on Friday, the 27th, when I got a fresh haircut at Erica's - so next time you'll see me with a little different hair. Will I surprise you? We'll see.

Wishing everybody a very happy weekend! Feel loved!
Sincerely,
Natalia

  3. OH Natalia I love green and I do love it on you! That shawl is gorgeous and if I saw it I would buy it without hesitation. I'm glad you like the baubles. I just new they would work with your wardrobe. Your shoes are one of my favourite styles. I am never sure what they are called, being a sort of heeled oxford but with a cut-out style on the top. Do enlighten me if you know. And wear green often! xoxoxo

    1. Thank you, Shawna! I'm not especially educated in styles or fashion terminology. Beate will come and enlighten us all. I think of them as mary janes.

  6. Those shoes steal my heart! They're gorgeous and I bet you'll be wearing those a lot. Love your shirt dress too and the color is dynamo on you. I'm loving this weather too!
So cute that you thought about me riding my bike in Burien. Did you guys try that drive down 152nd and down the hill around through the woodsy neighborhood all the way to Puget Sound? You'll love it if you haven't done Three Tree Point already. We will have to meet up one of these days now that the weather is getting better. ;)

    1. We will have to try it! Last night, we were so hungry and ended up at the Turkish restaurant, it was amazing - homey, yummy, funky atmosphere. I had a glass of French red wine, it was soooo goooood! :)

My parents are leaving soon, I'll have much more time and will be so happy to finally meet with you. :)

  9. Your posts always make me feel good. This green dress is perfect for spring, but I loved your previous stylings with the ultra-cool shoes and your burnt orange coat. You nailed it about gifts - it's the feeling that goes with them that's best, even when the gifts are so beautiful themselves.
I look forward to seeing your haircut! And hearing all about your night out dancing!
